# \[3] 2 - Impersonating a Police Officer or Public Servant

A person who knowingly and unlawfully attempts to assume the identity of, or represents themselves as, a peace officer, firefighter, EMT, or other public servant, without legal authority to do so, is guilty under this code section.

* Claiming to be a paramedic to gain access to emergency scenes.
* Pretending to be a city official to intimidate or influence others.
